You know, that isn't even remotely funny. It's beneath you.

It wasn't meant to be funny. It was meant to be instructive. Shlomoh has been worried about the effect of the movie. I've been trying to calm his fears to no avail. Now the movie is here, and the pogroms have not materialized. I'm hoping he can at last see with the exception of a few loons like Gibson's dad and marginalized sorts that are scorned by Christians, no one is going around shouting Christ-killer anymore. He can relax and be glad that this is history, and least in America.

Grace:

I hate to put it this way, but have you been paying attention? *NOBODY* is concerned about pograms in this country. *NOBODY*. If the issue were pograms, there would be no issue.

African-Americans suffered grievous discrimination for 100 years after the Civil War, and are still suffering, though less so. And yet, they have not witnessed any pograms. What do pograms have to do with anything? Are you suggesting that promoting anti-Semitism, whether by accident or intention, is okay as long as the result is not pograms?

Shlomoh and others are concerned that "PASSION" will promote anti-Semitism, not that it will promote pograms.

Grace Harris converted to Roman Catholicism from Holiness Religion over 20 years ago. She is currently in a program for conversion to Judaism.
