Home Fixing Weekend

Thank You Love for your kind word...
But it's not I that should get all
The praise that was heard.
From morning till night
Together we worked...
The progress we saw entailed
Almost everything wall-to-wall.
But after some sun,
And fresh air we did share,
Bargains we found;
'It was fun'; we'd declare.
So back to the house
After our morning stroll...
To re-create our loving home.
Later in the evening
We couldn't sleep...
We tossed and we turned;
Nothing seemed right.
So we went outside
To see the stars in the night
So calm and so clear
They all shined above.
As we inclined in our chair...
After sharing a drink
And some fresh fruit...
We again retired to share
Our sleep embraced in love...
