Howling Too
By Cynthia Pace

I am the she wolf who loves you.
United with the heavens
I am loosed; and I cry out
sky-clad under lunar beams...

Re-birth has begun,
not only for nature around us
but for our souls that lie
deep within...

Your unhibited passion brings forth
wet, smells from my body
and quivers that reverberate
from deep inside me...

And I cry out from your touch.
You seek my warm blood
from the soft creases in my neck;
and I willingly offer myself to you.

You must drink;
You must feed.
You need to take my life
and live for another day...

To wrap your essence
around me and embed
your lifes fluids into me...
So I can live another day...

Consume me;
drink from my fountain;
replenish your energies
to heal your body and soul...

I am the she wolf who loves you.
and I long for your embrace.
Hurry through the night my love...
I cry out in pain; I cannot wait...
