In what way do I love you?
Amein and amein...
Allow me to consider your manner...
Not like Bathsheba completing David,
Nor like Sarah living long with Abraham,
But in adoring you, Shlomoh...
I respect your learned ways.
I like drawing near and
listening to your wisdom.
I appreciate your openness...
But I am most affirmed and content
wrapped up in your arms,
nestled to your chest,
listening to you,
heart-to-heart, spirit-to-spirit...
And I am at peace.
May our time together
in its loving timelessness
continue through eternity.
