Dee's Poem To Me

YOUR VOICE

By Dee

I had to hear your voice today.
I'm enchanted by the things you say
Your kind sweet words so fill my heart
With dreams of passion yet to start.
Your throat I will kiss in loving adoration
My throat I will offer in quiet elation.

Oh yes, I've loved before, and yet
I never felt wanted until we met.
My history of loving is hard and fast
My desire is wanting love to last.
Your fingers, your lips, how I'm longing to kiss them.
I know when we part that I'm going to miss them.

Your voice soothes and calms me.
Your words reassure me.
I know you are a man who won't try to judge me
I know you are a lover who won't put himself above me.
I need to be accepted for the person I am
And not be asked to change just because I can.

Though miles divide us physically
The passion we share is reality.
Your voice reinforces
The words that I know
You tell me you love me
And I know that it's so.
When we meet, my love I'll give freely,
Now, my lover, only eight days to go...

After today, we'll be down to seven
Seven long days until we find heaven
So sleep well my lover, and have peaceful dreams
Til we are together and our voices will scream
In a chorus of passion and loving and lust
which grew from our voices, creating our trust.
