    I pause
    I wonder why
    No communication, no reply.
    I have acted as a friend
    Did I in some way offend?
    I consider
    Shall I send indeed
    Those words which you may blush to read?
    For my words will excite you!
    But I ask, will they delight you?
    And so you see, I hesitate
    But, I beg you, do not wait
    To tell me if I may be bold
    And let my fantasy unfold
