For anyone who doesn't quite understand what happened in World War 2 from a geographic standpoint, this is an excellent way to view it on maps.
Please Note:
It takes you through (even with the sound effects of planes and artillery, etc.) the War in Europe and North Africa as the Germans systematically expanded their vast empire. It is amazing how much territory they actually at one time occupied. I think most of us have forgotten just how bad things were before the U.S. finally entered the war.
When you click the file it should give you the option to save or open it with PowerPoint. If you do not have PowerPoint on your computer, you can download a free Power Point Viewer from Microsoft.
Use your left mouse button to advance the scenes.
Remember, this is ONLY Europe. The same thing happened across the globe. Salute to a great generation.
When you open the file, the map will appear and the 'action' will start.
Each time the 'music or noise' stops, left-click your mouse or hit the space bar one time for the next 'action' scene.
Use your escape key to return to this page.
